Screen Mirror™ Support

Support for the Screen Mirror™ App on iOS

Screen Mirror for OBS allows you to stream video of your iPhone's screen to a compatable receiver.

At launch, you will see the app interface. Press the circular button and select start broadcasting. The app will begin transmitting to NDI compatable receivers. You should be able to pickup the stream output from a NDI compatable receiver. Please see your respect operating systems app store for software to do this testing.

If you are using the app in a standard OBS configuration, you will likely need to enable NDI support. There are several options for getting the app to show as a source in OBS. We recommend using the obs-ndi plugin. The obs-ndi plugin is available at https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi . If you would like a copy of a release of obs-ndi directly, there is a releases page at https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases . You can select a version that is appropriate for your operating system there. If you are using Windows, the Windows Installer version is the easiest to use.

Due to the high bandwidth needs of streaming video, a fast local area network is needed. A stream can easily use more than 100 Mbps. Therefore, an 802.11ac or WiFi 6 network is likely required for most users. In addition, spreading out devices on the network can help with interference in some cases. If you find that the image stutters at HD resolutions, you may want to try moving and separating devices. Most users will find it beneficial to run a separate 5GHz 802.11ac network on a clear WiFi channel.

If you have questions regarding the use of the app, or feedback on the app, please send us an email at info@patentmasters.io.

Thank you for your interest in the app.
